Do I need a building permit for my project?
Many structural changes, additions, secondary units, and some interior renovations require a building permit. We can help determine what is required for your design or contracting project. We prepare the necessary drawings and can assist with the permit process, coordinating with the municipality as needed.

What types of contracting projects do you take on?
We specialize in small-scale contracting projects, including structural renovations, interior remodels, land clearing, equipment work, concrete projects, exterior decks and sheds. Each project is reviewed to ensure it aligns with our scope and availability.

What is a BCIN designer?
A BCIN designer is qualified through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to prepare residential drawings that comply with the Ontario Building Code. This means your project is designed to meet OBC requirements, and we can assist with preparing and coordinating the building permit submission.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Seguin's Design & Contracting Inc is a BCIN-registered firm authorized to provide Part 9 residential design services. We also carry liability insurance for our design and small scale contracting projects.
